Stonebwoy – The Torcher | Album Download
Stonebwoy‘s The Torcher is a 9-track EP set in the Afro-dancehall / reggae / Afropop space, showing his blend of melodic hooks, dancehall drum patterns, and lyrics that reflect both celebration and introspection. It includes songs that move between energetic vibes (“GidiGidi (Fire)”, “Torcher”) and more reflective tracks (“Send Dem A Prayer”, “Deeper”). Collaborations also feature, such as “Susuka” with Beeztrap & Yaw Tog, and “Xosetor” with Agbeshie & Kenny Ice.
The EP was released on September 9, 2025, under Stonebwoy’s label Burniton Music Group. The project was teased earlier that month with visuals (motion graphics, a burning Ankh) and followed with a shorter video-poetry teaser.
In terms of its place in his career, The Torcher follows his full-length 2024 album Up & Runnin6. It serves both to maintain momentum and to explore or expand on themes and sounds he’s known for, while working with newer artists. The structure—mixing solo tracks and features—suggests he wants to both reconnect with his core style and collaborate with rising voices in Ghana’s music scene.
