Martina’s Son is Skales‘ newest studio album, released on 12 September 2025 under OHK Entertainment, licensed exclusively to ONErpm. The project has 16 tracks and runs for about 45 minutes.
The album title Martina’s Son is a tribute to his late mother, Martina, who passed away in 2022. The lead track, “Until We Meet Again” (feat. Tome & Bolu Ajibade), opens with a recording of his mother speaking — an emotional touch that frames the rest of the project. Musically, Skales shows range: there are club/dance numbers (“B.T.S {Burst Their Speakers}”, “Scandal”, “Dance Like Lamine Yamal”), introspective and spiritual songs (“Glory”, “Blessings Shower”), collaborations with gospel / Tungba legend Yinka Ayefele (on “Tota E Mole”), and nostalgic elements, such as sampling older hits (e.g. “Mental” uses a sample of Faze‘s Kolomental) and the inclusion of a Spanish remix of his 2014 hit “Shake Body”.
