Released on 12 September 2025, FREE is Nasty C‘s fifth studio album. It marks a deeper turn toward artistic independence, as it is released under his own label Tall Racks Records. The project comprises 16 tracks, about 40 minutes in total, featuring collaborations with artists like Blxckie, Usimamane, DJ Speedsta, Tellaman, and Tshego.
Genre-wise, FREE is rooted in Hip Hop / Rap, but Nasty C pushes boundaries beyond those foundations. The album mixes in R&B, house, rock, and even maskandi (a Zulu genre) influences. What seems clear is Nasty C wants this album to show versatility — songs that lean pop-wards, other tracks more introspective or experimental.
